Currently Fuerza Unida sends out 50 boxes of groceries each month to local families in need. We view our South Side community as family and familia helps familia! If you would like to volunteer or learn more about how to receive a box, email us!

This program was designed to give Fuerza’s members an opportunity for job security. This program emphasizes providing safe work conditions, proper living wages, and even incorporates leadership and business skills training for displaced garment workers and elderly women in San Antonio.

Fuerza Unida runs a summer-long youth program designed to empower teenagers ages 13-17 to take action in the fight for social, political, economic, and environmental justice. The teens learn leadership skills and are taught to appreciate the cultural arts prevalent in the Mexican-American community.

Fuerza Unida organizes monthly meetings led by keynote speakers to help educate people on discrimination, and issues in society. The speakers range from other non-profits to lawyers and even government officials. Each meeting provides a variety of workshops that show people how they can make a difference in our community.
