A Community Space to Learn, Grow, and Cultivate Our Green Spaces**

Fuerza Unida invites you to our Environmental Cafecito—a Saturday morning gathering where we share knowledge, cafecito, and comunidad while learning how to make our gardens and green spaces healthier, greener, and more sustainable.

This cafecito is for any community member who wants to:

• Learn simple ways to grow plants, herbs, and vegetables at home

• Understand how to care for soil, conserve water, and support pollinators

• Improve air quality and create cooler outdoor spaces for their families

• Receive tips from our garden team and promotora leaders

• Ask questions and get personalized support for their home garden projects

Each session will highlight what our Promotoras Ambientales are working on—tree stewardship, environmental health education, and community outreach—and will connect participants to resources, referrals, and tools that can support their own green journey.

We’ll share:

• Seasonal gardening tips

• Quick DIY home garden practices

• Local environmental resources and funding opportunities

• Opportunities to volunteer, learn, and get involved with Fuerza Unida’s environmental programs
