As founder and co-director of Fuerza Unida, Viola is considered a pillar of our local social justice movements. She has traveled throughout the world building local solidarity with local global social justice efforts. Viola coordinates the Food Pantry.

Petra Mata

As founder and co-director of Fuerza Unida, Petra is considered a pillar of our local social justice movements. She has spoken at countless local rallies and demonstrations. Petra coordinates The Thread of Justice.

Lety Garza

Lety is the head seamstress of The Thread of Justice. She is a highly skilled seamstress, whose original designs in garments and textile items are featured at Fuerza Unida.

Maria Enedina Montez

Maria's creativity enhances the textile work of The Thread of Justice. Her years of experience help maintain production in the sewing workshop and also supports other areas of Fuerza Unida's work.
